Organisational Announcement

For those who haven’t met Adrian, we thought we’d allow him to introduce himself in his own words: Adrian is a registered paramedic, with over 20 years of experience in healthcare delivery, operational leadership and service transformation.

Raised in Weston, he joined the RAF after leaving school and was lucky enough to work in a number of different environments and places around the world before joining the ambulance service and progressing through clinical and managerial roles with a focus on improving services and patient care models.

Since that time, Adrian has worked in a broad range of delivery areas at a locality, regional and national level, including prison healthcare commissioning, emergency service collaboration programmes, urgent and emergency care oversight and more recently system improvement in an ICB.

A key driver for joining Pier Health was his passion for being part of collaborative working across partners and seeing real improvements to how care is provided across all patient groups.

Outside of work, a huge film fan of all genres, Adrian is often found watching sci-fi one day and old westerns the next, when family time allows!
