The role of Clinical Leadership Team Administrator requires the successful candidate to work one day a week at our Riverbank Medical Centre as well as other Weston locations once a month to support the Clinical Leadership Team meetings. The remaining hours can be worked flexibly and remotely if required to assist with outside commitments.

The role will report to the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer and will provide admin and clerical assistance to the Clinical Leadership Team. The role requires someone who is confident, calm under pressure, proactive and professional.

ANPs and Prescribing Paramedics

Part or Full-Time considered

We have teams of high skilled clinical and non-clinical staff providing high quality care to our patients. Supporting our 17 GPs we have a Pharmacist Prescriber, Pharmacy Technician, Mental Health Nurse, prescribing Paramedic, Lead Nurse plus a team of ANPs, Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants. Supporting our clinical staff are a team of named personal Administrative Assistants for each GP and ANP/Paramedic, a Management Team and other administrative support. We firmly believe that our team is at the heart of what we do.

 For GPs specifically, we have well established processes to reduce the amount of administration GPs need to do, for example, we optimise our workflow so the amount of clinical letters you need to review is reduced. We are also about to embark on a pathology optimisation project which aims to safely reduce the amount of pathology a GP needs to process.

Part time/Salaried GPs Required The Cedars Surgery, Worle (near Weston-super-Mare)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join two well-established PMS practices with a combined patient list of approximately 15,400. We serve a population with a good mix of age groups who come from a variety of economic backgrounds.

About the team

We are a friendly and forward-thinking team, hoping to attract dynamic and innovative GPs. We would welcome creativity, allowing us to meet the increasing demands on general practice. We pride ourselves on our ability to provide excellent patient care whilst maintaining an attractive work-life balance.

The clinical workforce includes one GP partner, six salaried doctors, three nurse practitioners, five practice nurses and three healthcare assistants, all supported by committed reception and administrative teams. We are a training practice, so there is a regular flow of GP trainees and medical students.

About the location

The practices are located less than half a mile from each other in the pleasant village of Worle, near Weston-super-Mare. The practices are situated just over a mile from junction 21 on the M5, so the practices are easily-commutable from Bristol, which is just 30 minutes from Clifton Suspension Bridge on the M5 motorway, or 30 minutes from Ashton Gate Stadium on the A370.

Summary

As our BI Analyst you will develop, maintain and operate reporting services and systems in order that routine corporate information outputs are produced in the most efficient and effective manner to deadlines.

You will extract data from practices within the wider Pier Health Group and turn it into useable intelligence for the benefit of the business and to minimise risk.

You will interpret complex information requests from Pier Health Group relating to activity, performance or patient care data.

You will use advanced data analysis techniques, reporting systems and Business Intelligence reporting tools to design, test and produce appropriate and fit for purpose new or updated report outputs, automating and delegating the routine delivery of these report outputs to practices where appropriate.

You will be able to demonstrate how the Business Intelligence function is self-financing by showing clear financial benefits to the practices within Pier Health and the organisation as a whole which amount to cost of the role to the organisation.

This is a varied and interesting role that will suit someone who, in addition to the industry-specific experience, has excellent analytical skills, the skill to communicate complex datasets, an advanced understanding of NHS IT and data systems, an understanding of Information Governance and Confidentialitiy, and have an advanced understanding of the principles of Informatics to degree level or equivalent experience we’d like to hear from you.

Summary

The Head of PCN Operations will be responsible for managing all requirements of the PCN DES and associated workstreams including sub-contracting, designing and implementing projects, managing and optimising services, analysing information, progress management, reports, financial claims and CCG submissions.

The role will also include supporting PCN projects, developing new initiatives, sharing best practices, supporting stakeholders, and contributing to decision making processes to influence outcomes. You will also be accountable for administration of our Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme.

You will have demonstrable experience of practice or business leadership, project management skills, GDPR and information governance and people and development operations. You will be confident in supporting key stakeholders in achieving the business strategy and operational plans and developing agreements and new ways of working for Practices and the network to work collaboratively together at scale and with other parties.

You will be a great listener as well as great emotional intelligence and be comfortable influencing and taking along all key stakeholders moving towards a more effective operating model.

This is a varied role that will suit someone who, in addition to the industry-specific experience, has excellent communication skills, a formal certificate or diploma in Business Management and be able to demonstrate experience of delivering successful projects in complex and sometimes challenging environments.
