We are inviting black women who have received cancer care at a hospital in Bristol or Weston-super-Mare in the last five years to take part in a small listening event.

These sessions are a chance for us to listen to your experiences and understand what has worked well, what has been difficult, and what you would like to see change in cancer services.

The sessions will be small and supportive. You are welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable, including choosing to just listen.

Each session will be facilitated by a non-clinical staff member from a Bristol voluntary organisation or North Bristol Trust, alongside a Black woman with lived experience of cancer. A cancer psychologist will also be available for support if anyone would like to speak to them. All staff identify as women.

We will not record names or identifying details, and what you share will have no connection to your care. Taking part is completely voluntary, and you can withdraw at any time. A £25 thank you gift card will be given to all participants for their time.
