At Pier Health, we’re proud to support the Hope Programme – an evidence-based self-management course designed to help people living with long-term health conditions feel more confident, informed and in control of their wellbeing.
The Hope Programme brings people together in a supportive environment, offering practical tools, shared experiences and expert facilitation. Whether delivered as a guided group course or a flexible self-guided option, the programme helps participants build resilience, manage symptoms and improve quality of life.
Group courses offer participants the chance to connect with others in similar situations while being supported by trained facilitators. Sessions are interactive, welcoming and focused on practical, real-world strategies.
For those who prefer flexibility, the Hope Programme for Long Term Conditions is also available as a self-guided online course.

Ideal for people who cannot attend scheduled sessions
Participants can work through the course independently, fitting learning around their own routines. We actively encourage individuals – including professionals – to explore the course themselves.
We are also pleased to promote Hope Programme courses delivered by our partner organisations. These may be run in person or virtually, and include courses taking place across Devon, Cornwall and Dorset.
All partner-led courses are listed on the same regional page, making it easy to find local and accessible options:
